Structural Integration
Anatomy Trains Structural Integration is an approach to systematically unwinding and rejuvenating the fascia throughout the entire body, then programming in new patterns of tension that will allow the person to feel and move more freely. This is a process done over the course of about 12 sessions, give or take a few depending on the individual client. The potential benefits range from feeling and moving better to emotional or spiritual awakenings.

Nearly anyone of any age can benefit from this holistic approach to better movement and bodily awareness.

Treatment sessions include thorough standing and movement analysis’, targeted myofascial release techniques, mindfulness, and movement education.

The neuromuscular assessment is based on the principles of developmental neurology and applied kinesiology. This work focuses on the neural control of muscles and core stabilization, aligning and stabilizing the clients’ core first, then increasing mobility so that the head and limbs can move freely.

This approach is used with clients who won’t necessarily benefit from increasing their pliability but will certainly benefit from having better structural alignment, such as athletes with functional asymmetries from years of training or people with hyper-mobility syndromes.

Both of these approaches are meant to promote long term change at a structural level, hence the name structural bodywork.

Sessions are approximately 60 minutes. $125
